The Walkman series is all focused on music features, with a strong media player, lots of memory, support for various media files, music and videos. CyberShot is dedicated to camera phones, taking quality pictures and with a lot of editing options and settings. It is no wonder why people choose a Sony Ericsson phone, especially as they have such great design and intuitive menus, they are sharp and the screen quality is among the best.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is among the best proofs of how dedicated the company is towards media features. It is the perfect combination between a cell phone and a gaming device, because it has dedicated gaming controls. It comes with a lot of available games and offers a great smartphone experience, even though there are some sacrifices you have to make. But if you are on the road most of the times, you don’t have time to stay at the computer and play games; you can use your mobile phone and practice your favorite experience wherever you are, with a compact design and a plentiful of features. Sony Ericsson Xperia Active has a small touch screen compared with others, but has an attractive design, a fast processor and perfect for adventurers who just don’t want to compromise on functionality and features. It runs on Android 2.3, has a responsive touch screen, 720p video recording capabilities, meaning you can shoot nice videos on your trips and the waterproof and dustproof design will keep it out of damage. Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S is a solid choice for those looking for a powerful smartphone, with an attractive design, 8.1 digital camera and sharp display. Over the original Arc it does not come with a lot of improvements, but it brings a 4.2” touch screen, a fast 1.4 GHz processor and a stunning look. The processor is the main difference and it surely boosts performance. It seems that cell phones are starting to be as powerful as a midrange laptop computer. The Xperia Ray has a small screen and this could cause some difficulties when typing, but as a midrange smartphone, it surely deserves some attention. With a slim design, 3.3” touch screen, 8 megapixels camera, Android 2.3 and 1 GHz processor, the phone is one of the thinnest around and it will surely attract its share of users.

If there are mini laptops out there, why not mini phones? Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro is quite small and it fits perfectly in your pocket, but it still keeps speed and features, so you are not missing out anything. But note that the battery is on the short side, the screen is small, so typing can be a tad difficult and the camera is not that super. But considering there is a sliding QWERTY keyboard, fast performance and a slick user interface, the phone promises a lot.
